Formed as a 501(c)3 supporting organization of GHS in 2014, the Research Development Corporation (RDC) is dedicated to improving the health of upstate South Carolina and beyond by facilitating the development, implementation and use of medical and healthcare delivery advancements. As GHS’ technology transfer office, the RDC identifies, assesses and markets commercially viable technology developed by GHS physicians, faculty and staff. Additionally, the RDC manages the development of industry collaborations and assists in attracting new businesses and jobs to the region.

  • Pursue mission-supporting private and public sector collaborations and partnerships through a formal exploratory, assessment, and implementation process.

  • Contribute to the economic development of the communities and region served by GHS.
